DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 glass is notable for its highly consistent, reproducible quality. Very high chemical resistance, inert behavior, transparency, a high usage temperature, minimal thermal expansion and the resulting high resistance to thermal shock are the most significant properties of DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 glass. It also conforms to the requirements of a USP/EP/JP Type 1 neutral glass suitable for use by the pharmaceutical industry.

A variety of dedicated caps, closures, and accessories working perfectly with the DURAN® laboratory bottles complement the portfolio. All part of the DURAN® Bottle System – developed for your needs. DURAN® bottles come with a manufacturing lot/retrace code. Using the eight-digit code and the corresponding article number, a batch certificate can be downloaded.

DURAN® offers a comprehensive product range of precision closure systems, starting with high-quality standard caps suitable for numerous scientific applications. Our product offer also includes identification aids, special closures for sterilization processes, caps made of high-performance materials for demanding applications, connection systems, security caps, and transportation accessories. All part of the DURAN® Bottle System – developed for your needs. DURAN® caps and connection systems will fit most DIN GL standard laboratory bottles available on the market.

DURAN® Beakers and Flasks

For many decades, DURAN® beakers and flasks have been the tried and trusted backbone for working in laboratories and they still are today. Depending on your application select from a variety of different options – low and tall beaker shapes, wide and narrow neck Erlenmeyer flasks, round and flat bottom flasks especially for heating applications, our DURAN® Super Duty range characterized by higher mechanical strength for safer working in the lab and more. DURAN® Volumetrics

DURAN® volumetric glassware is designed, manufactured and calibrated to contain or to deliver volumes, with high levels of accuracy and precision. The product line comprises volumetric flasks, measuring and mixing cylinders and burets manufactured from Type I / DURAN® borosilicate glass 3.3 according to ISO as well as to USP standards. A range of bulb and measuring pipettes made from soda-lime glass as well as ergonomically shaped, color-coded PE stoppers complement the portfolio.

A range of high-quality Type I glass bottles and plastic closures developed for the needs of the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. DURAN® PURE meets the needs of international pharmacopoeia, standards and regulatory authorities.
